Chili-Eh Cookoff!

It was indeed a chilly cook off in Leduc on Saturday! Riseup Board member Jeana Schuurman, Executive Director Erna Carter and Jeana’s grandma served pumpkin and apple pie slices and distributed promotional materials about the work of Riseup Society Alberta at Leduc’s annual Chili-Eh Cookoff. It was a good day and we enjoyed meeting with those who came by and educating our community about what we do, all while serving up some delicious pie!
